Scope of
Work of PoC
Introduction
This
document defines the scope of work for the “Data-Free TV - Cinehome Delivery
Network”.
Cinehome platform offers “Data-Free TV”
feature to subscribers without it counting against your data allowance.
Provides a new way of streaming videos, analyze viewer insights and generate
revenue from different avenues. This means there is no DATA CAPS (monthly limits
on the amount of data you can use over your Internet connection) for the
customer with respect to viewing Cinehome.

Based on your requirement, We shall provide the list of devices and
tools required for initiating the PoC.
Content
Following content will be made available for testing and all these
contents will be for demo purpose only.
Channels
There will be 30 TV Channels made available across multiple languages.
All the channels will be transcoded in
the following bitrates

720p @2.5mbps

480p @1.2mbps
|
|
360p @800 kbps
|
1 Channel
takes 4.5 mbps for 3 users watching different bitrates.
Live
Channels will be delivered through open network.
Video
on Demand
There will be 30 Movies made available across multiple languages. All
these movies will be encoded in the following bitrates.

1080p @ 5mbps

720p @ 2.5mbps

480p @ 1.5mbps

VOD and
Packaging Server will be kept in your Premise .
1 VOD takes
9 mbps for 3 users watching different bitrates.
Middleware
Following will be hosted in server which will be kept at your premise.

In totality 3 Servers will be based out of Awasr Premise

Network connectivity
All the channels will be delivered through our
Cinesoft Headend Services (Data feed from the antenna, packaging, transcoding).
A P2P network will be established from Cinesoft Kochi Kerala to……..

Note:
Connection from the Oman POP to AWASR Premise will be
taken care by AWASR.
Support
from Your Side
1. Internet connection of bandwidth 1-
5 mbps with 1 public static IP and 6 private static IP to be required to
install application and packages to the server and also for the remote
configuration in the server.
2. Required SMTP details to setup the
OTP through the mail.(SMTP details of your mail server if you have any).
3. 1 Gigabyte 24 port switch with 2x10G
SFP
4. Servers
5. Power source to the servers. Each one
having 2 power supplies.
6. 4U to 6U Space for keeping the
servers.
7. Network Cables.
8. Required support to establish
connectivity / Internal Routing / WLAN Setup with their network.
